Dastek or Jabbasport?

:( been having a sniff about and some ppl hav been savin the dastek unichip is better than the jabbasport full rolling road remap does any1 know anything about this or is is bull?

jabba isn't revo - they use dimsport software

Dastek unichips... why bother when you can get a better result with the ECU doing what it wants to do

iirc, dasetek were very popular with the citroen / puegeot scene as the standard ecu's on those can't be remapped :confused:
the unit is cheap at £300 for a reprogrammable ecu, but then you have to get it wired into the ecu loom and mapped at approx £500! :-o thats for mapping & rolling road time.

alot of people got rid of them though, i think because it can't be used with turbo's. :shrug: i may be wrong!

if you want to go down the route of standalone ecu's there a far better units available than dasetek!

Im gonna get a customcode stage 2 from JBS on mine when iv had my exhaust fitted! Customcode maps are supposed to be the smoothest and therefore kinder to clutches etc!!

well im gunna go for the jabba re map jst a pain in the arse if anything goes wrong ive got to travel to peterborough to get it sorted bout 4 hour's acording to aa route finder not at 130 ; )
