Lurking in the background
Jason 5th, Darren 6th in race 2. Looked like a good drive from Darren from the back of the grid.
Neal out after a collision with Colin Turkington :D
Vauxhalls finished 1st and 3rd, Giovanardi only 5 points behind Jason in the championship...

Anyway pleased that Jason won race 3, glad he held back at the hairpin from the other cars which ran into each other.

I would be suprised if Matt Neal hasn't been reprimanded from the Clerk of the Course for removing the tow rope, even though Matt probably knew it'd do more damage to the car. Pleased Shedden finished ahead of him in Race three too! More results like that for Gordon Shedden and he'll be doing a Dan Eaves....

Serious carnage in all races - and some terrible marshalling too.

Safety car called out for no reason at all apart from bunching the cars up.
However, Rockingham is still the best venue in the UK - and the traffic management was top

Tim Harvey made that cynical comment too

Top day at Rockingham. Apart from Plato's off the line (and crash dodging) in the 3rd race, I'd have to say I was most impressed with "Coleslaw-Ons" efforts which spiced-up race 2.

Many of the other formula races were just to processional to be interesting though.

Nice points lead for Plato now but a shame about DT (why do they think putting tons of black tape on something is going to make it work?)

Top day at rockingham! first time ive been to a motorsports event and loved it. Certainly will be returning in the future. Think the btcc were the best on show with races 2 and 3 being espically good. Nice to see Plato win the 3rd race

Only problem i had.... me and my mate forget where I parked the motor and ended up looking around for bouts 30 mins trying to find it. So if u saw a confused lad around in the car park looking around it was most likely me

Nice to see many SEAT cars in the car park

I think it may be better than brands....maybe?

Well, in terms of traffic control, definately better. The view is pretty good like Brands, but its so big some of it is hard to see without a telescope. I'd rather sit nearer a corner where there is some action, and not the straight (Bit like watching F1 on a straight) I was standing on the pits, which sounds great, but has quite a restricted view from there sadly. Haven't seen it on TV yet, but we were trying hard to get in camera shot during the presentations :)

can't have been - at silverstone last year there was zero traffic management - hence they lost the BTCC this year
