they have been passing themselves off as forge on ebay for 2 years, and have 100% feedback.
and they also mention cheap Chinese shite,so it might well be forge.why not ask them?

The I/C does have the Forge logo on the top (you can make it out in one of the pics).

However, if they really are Forge, why are they selling Samco Hoses???

Surely if anything they'd be selling their own Forge (siliconhoses.com) branded ones?

Also, I would think Forge know enough about which cars their products would be suited to & give definate list of fitments or a link to their website, not advertise as "may fit seat, VW etc." which is pretty vague and doesn't inspire much confidence.

I'd be quite surprised if it really was Forge on fleabay.

If it is Forge... sorry  luv ya really!! lol

The fmic you need for the mk4 needs both the inlet and outlet on the same side, i.e the drivers side, so that imho is no good for your car if you was looking at getting one.

I have a genuine SeatSport Cupra TDi FMIC that i sold on ebay but it didn't go though as the guy didn't pay because he was too busy getting married, apparantly :censored: :censored:

I was going to put it back up there, but if anyone wants it, pm me. It has got small superficial damage, but it DOES work. If you want pics, look at the site on my sig, and there is a gallery. :D

the seat sport fmic is your best bet ;) forge sell a kit to make it fit your tdi and have all the fancy unristrictable silicone pipes (pricey but probably worth it :) )

IH786 how much did your insurance go up by when you fitted it? Did you tell them?

Driving round in Europe (le mans woohoo) in summer and having a revo fitted all being well, but would that particular intercooler be sufficient to stop my engine overheating in the spanish heat?

Also, how much are you looking for it pal? Tried to pm you but I couldn't

I never actually fitted it. Its still in the same box i had when i got it. My inbox isn't full, so you should be able to pm me. Click on my name for this post on the left, and its the 2nd or 3rd option on the list.

Hi guys, I purchased the Black forge intercooler from ebay today.
I've been in touch with the guy selling the items...Peter Miles, M.D of Forge.
So it really is forge gear = BEST QUALITY = got myself a bargain!

And like we told you, you need both the inlet and utlet on the left hand side, not one on each side. Your gonna need loads more pipework if it can even be done on a mk4 like that as im sure it cant.

Sacrilege. How very dare he

Give the guy a break, he was responding to posts made about the FMIC he's just bought - seems fair enough to me

ok, just think it seems a bit strange it was posted in the mk4 section thats all  maybe general offtopic may have been a wiser choice?
