i worked on my gap year, saved a bit of cash up and bought my motor, but mummy and daddy helped too.

what uni's are you all at? we should start a facebook group - "students with ibiza's" or something along those lines

See the Seat Ibiza Owners Club on facebook - im there so is Spyke :)

I paid some of the car myself and a bit of help from the 'rents :) in response to reedbradshaw :p

My car is the grey one - but its a good grey :p will get some photos up soon!

I got that impression about the Shotgun run from the photos on the website on what people are bringing.

I have a remap, miltek cat back, K&N induction kit so i should be pushing 180bhp and 280+ ft/lbs of torque at least :) so my car will probably melt in the sun.

What uni you at btw?

im at leeds buddy.

already a member of the ibiza owners group on facebook. that website is the single most dangerous think to my degree. sod the drinking and the drugs, facebook will ruin me!

not got much on my motor at the moment. only the pd160 intake and a k&n air filter. on the way though got a revo and possibly this new intercooler which should push me into your bho territory.

in the UK you could probably just (and only just) get away without a FMIC, however it wouldnt be good for your engine in the long run.....however if your travelling through france and spain in august (by far the hottest month..trust me i should know, i used to live there) your engine would seriously overheat and you would be re-filling your coolant on a daily basis (probably)!!! and also your engine would under perform and may just give up before the trip ends....it can hit 40-45 degrees celcius on the outskirts of madrid in summer remember
