Comments like "are you having a mid life crisis" are being thrown around.
All very funny for the idiots making them, but its got me thinking -
At 43 am I too old to be driving this car?
I would be interested to here your ages and comments please.

Wouldn't take any notice of what people say!

One of my managers is in his late 40's and bought a Mitsubishi Evo.

One of my team leaders is coming up to retirement and bought a Civic Type R!!

One of the techs I work with is in his mid 40's and has a modified Corrado VR6 & Mk3 Golf VR6.

My uncle is in his mid 50's and just bought a new Fiesta ST!

You're never too old to get enjoyment out of something :)

As Dan says, is my Leon too mature for me - having 4 doors and a boot??

I'm 33 and until last year I had a pretty modified nissan pulsar gti-r and a mazda rx-7 3rd gen, both of which I'd owned for ages. When I changed cars I was looking at an evo, skyline and a sensible option.

In the end I went for the sensible option because I was fed up paying to insure group 20 cars, getting at best 22mpg and having to fix expensive problems when the break down. So as far as I'm concerned my new shape TDi sport is a very sensible old mans option, I'm almost 34 and I still think too young to have such a sensible car. :D

Its a load of rubbish, you're only as young as you feel (or is that the women you feel  never mind)
Anyway I'm 45 and I have an FR.

Don't listen to them they're jealous :)

Well I'm 27. I don't feel too young or to old for this car, in fact it feels perfect, and its my first ever car. 4 door was a must with a wee one.

Im 20 and sometimes feel too young to be driving such a nice car! lol

Though - i dont see what their problem is, anyone can have an interest in a car no matter what ae you are, wonder what they would say if you bought a GT TDI Golf what they would say? May look a 'little' more sensible, but same car.. Anyone can drive a golf
