How to tell DPF from normal

When run in PUGs 306 I see it makes them smokier, thats what I was wondering, would the extra soot have a negative impact on the DPF

Also, does the DPF have a negative impact on performance of the leon? Would it go harder without it, can you take it out?

50 miles? they should come with a warning before you buy them then. I reckom a good blast will help....... or thats what i keep telling myself.
