Hello Again,

I've decided to go for the Pioneer BT HU for my car

Can someone tell me exactly what else I need to order at the same time please.

Do I need the Aerial adapter, ISO multifit wiring adapter, which facia adapter etc ?

I've got exactly the same head unit, mainly for the bluetooth hands free, which works really well, and I also got the iPod adaptor which works ok albeit a bit slow at navigating.

Yes you'll need the aerial adaptor, face plate adaptor, and ISO wiring kit, in fact I ordered from the same website, but I got the head unit cheaper from ebay.

I believe i ordered items 3 and 4 from http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/seat-leon-2000-c-292_314_572.html?cadid=f60a2b37e1aec5646e5da94bc43ac7a7, and got the aerial adaptor from halfords

How come you needed the wire kit? My Pioneer HU went straight in. Only thing I had to do was swap red/yellow cables over, facia adapter and aerial adapter

You don't need the wireing kit, just the facia and aerial booster thing.

Will order now - I take it this is as easy as old unit out, new one in, no need to cut/switch wires to take the constant 12v power ?

I know I will need to locate the microphone, but apart from that, it should be straight forward? right ? lol

My cuz had one similer to this but in a differnt model, silver (mp3/wma).
its very complex to set up on some menus with the mulitfunction knob.
These tapes are ver fragile when removing the face.
for example, if you want take the face off, it will fold down and you slide it out, the carriage will then fold back in.

The problem he kept having is the mechnism that folds the face , jammed up, so he could remove any cds or take the face off.
he had give it abit of a slap then it folded down. Its common fault after a period of time.
So jus make sure the arm of the mechanism are free from dirt/ and care to be taken when removing the face!
Overal a good tape with nice graphics
