i have the PROP, Rear DIFF, Cradle and Hubs and Shocks off an Audi S3.

if i source an s3 gearbox will i be able to fit this to my LCR 210, as i know in EU they launched a 4 motion version, so is the chassis the same??/

yes but youll need a fuel tank as well, you will probably loose your abs, youll need a diff controller from sqsracing, and probably a better clutch and some small mods on the way:)

oh yer handbrake cables as well, as well as brake lines which can be easily made

That's a lot of work for little gain. If anything, you'll end up with a car that's not as good to drive as you have now. Part exchange your car for an S3 if you want a car that drives like an S3.

i doubt very much that the lcr 210 is the same floor pan as the 4wd leon, so i doubt very much it will be a straight bolt on job,

not worth it imo

working on both golf 4motion and lcr and seeing a 4motion leon the underneath is the same just need cradle mounts welded onto floor and that the only hard bit

It's not even close - so you're right

really not worth the bother of fabrication.

ha admitting defeat before the projects even started!:)
i duuno what engineerings come to these days, have one look ,if it looks to hard then it gets the bin job:)

if youve got the running gear and a spare couple of grand then go for it and do somthing that no one else has got in the uk in rhd:)
seen it done before with alot of cars astras, nova's, micra's

I know thats the point, that last post wasnt entirely serious:blink:

but I think theres far to much work involved for what youll get out of it. Its a mammoth task, and you can kiss goodbye to driving the car for quite a while!

I had the same discussion on my last vectra site, there where people wanting to and did supercharge their v6's for £0000's. I always argued that they would of better of buying a car that was already faster and had a better chassis to handle the power. But people like projects and like to try thing that no one has did before. I prefer just saving the money and buying something better, faster already:cartman:
