My best mate has an astra coupe turbo - same stats as the GSI Turbo and mine will sit right alongside all the way to circa 130mph, i have also left a civic jordan jobby for dust and i have a standard LC180 - not sure on the starlet.

I was also surprised when i sat right behind a VR6 Golf yesterday too lol - not that i condone such activities

Loads, i caught him, over took him and left him a good 3 car lengths in a fairly short distance (the whole lot was in less than 1 mile.) - he was in his vtec rangeas it had some sort of manic induction roar too.

It was from a rolling start though, say about 30mph in 2nd, caught him, into 3rd and pulled past...

are you planning revo stage 2 or similar or did you just do the decat for the sake of it ,

have you logged boost, airmass , AF ratio etc

i think the revo trial must have screwed my ecu settings!

i just hope p torque could sort it all out and sqeezse out all the power from it!

Im not a big fan of de-catting modern day cars tbh. Used to be alright on the old jap stuff, remove the 2 cats from an impreza and as you'll be aware 25bhp gains.

Nothing like that from modern day cars though. Im almost sure there needs to be some of restriction otherwise you'll be losing a lot of bottom end grunt.

Is it perhaps that, that has upset things? Or have you felt a noticable increase in performance by removing cat?

Hope your remap goes well:)

See what P-torque says tomorrow mate?

Have you still got 1st lambda sensor? Well you would need to have really, otherwise your fuelling would be gone to ratsh*t.

Yeah maybe the revo trial code has affected things.

if you've pulled the battery & reset the ECU the trial setting's won't cause you any problems

I'll bet you've damaged a lambda probe 'decatting' - and are driving about ignoring the engine check light?

You should have an engine check light if you have no cat though....

You're stating the MAF is reading right? well that's directly proportional to power, so it must be in the same ball park

If the MAF is reading right, and the CEL isn't on, I'd be fairly sure your car is running 'OK'. Decatting the car may have lost you some back pressure, but I would have thought that would show itself in the first few gears more than the last few, where you seem to have a problem.

It could, of course, be down to the others being better drivers?

Having said that, I wouldn't have expected you to keep up with an Astra GSi as they are lighter and have more power, so no surprise you lost that one.
