Just won the bidding on the black powder coated one on ebay anyway, so will get that in the blaster at work as soon as it arrives, then get it polished up next time i'm on nights!

cool, how much did that set you back? i won a spare a while ago for £26 including the silicone elbow from the turbo. i was going to have the silencer removed and a fresh bit of metal tubing welded in instead but at the moment i can't really be bothered to go around local factories/metal workers to see if they'd be interested in doing it for me.

Got it for £36 in the end. I've decided that i might have trouble stripping the powder coat back, so i will temporarily fit it to mine while i polish my original one, then i'll sell the black one on.

I saw that one, fromthe pics i doubt its powder coated as it looks as if all the paints chipped off and been re painted. Will make a nice one to polish up tho

I had some hope in me that it wasn't actually powder coated, but sometimes its very hard to tell from the pics that some people put up. It doesn't look a good finish at all, but chances are, when it arrives, it'll be the hardest goddamn stuff this side of diamond!!

it could be the SCN community charge pipe that people pass to one another while they polish up their own!

You can get the polishing kit from ebay and do it whilst its on the car or just whip it off, wont take more than a few hours. A few people have done it now.

Yeah sods law its harder!

That would be ok but on the car u cant do a proper job and no offence but i dont do thjinks byu halfs and in my job im on call 24/7 and sods law id just get it off and get a call cheers.

the main reason tho to change this pipe is to remove the silencer on it, id suggest you remove it on your spare and weld it up inside while ur at it

For me, the main reason to change mine is to get a polished one on there. I'm not really bothered by the silencer tbh, so it may as well stay. May be in the future i'll change my mind, but for now, i'll just polish it.

i think there is some sort of charge pipe for the LC. there must be something connecting the turbo to the intercooler.

That one only fits the lcr. on the cupra the pipe follows a different route, down the back of the engines and around between the pulleys and the offside wheel to the smic.
