Right ive already posted this twice already so here goes a third...

Get these spacers instead - use your original bolts and locking nuts! Theyre much safer than getting stupidly long bolts also:

BTW i am in no way affiliated to this ebay seller, although i should be on a comission at this rate!

I bought some of these 20mm spacers at the weekend from AC services. Orginally bought some 15mm ones but couldnt get them to fit as the spigot was too long for the spacer to fit over. Defintely go for the 20mms. They are really good quality, hubcentric and very cheap at £34.50. bolts included.

more importantly did you notice the better handling !

The car doesnt seem as skatty in corners. The bed end seems firmer. Not as rolly. Sounds weird but the back end seems to follow wider, like, feel wider. Even though its not. Looks much better, even on my 16s.

Cool now cos the wheel hangs out the bumper whereas it was level before. Looked stupid before cos you could look down the side of the car, and genuinely couldnt see the back wheel. I would say that spacers and just painting the brake callipers make a hell of a difference. Handles a lot firmer. :) well impressed.

Mine work well I must admit, roundabouts are good fun now, see 50mph without slipping one bit! Tyres help too, toyo's are amazing!

All I need is a jabba RARB

It's not just me then? It does handle better!

Next step, Forge rear strut brace, anyone got one and does it make a lot of difference?

I dont want to be on the road when you lot are driving ;)

I could only tell a difference in handling on track, I wouldnt push it that far on the road to be able to notice the difference!

It is a massive difference in the end though :)

And the colour, it is standard Seat yellow. Perhaps you can't see it because of all the come in yours eyes from all that w*****g that W****rs do. :)

Hmmm, still at it - thought you would have given up, and went back to discussing how 20mm spacers are turning your SEAT Ibiza into an F1 racing car!?

Finally, we get to the reason why your Ibiza looks so YELLOW... all the  and :w4nk: that goes on in your driveway. That would explain why you spend so much time working "ON" your car !!

Perhaps take a trip up to my part of the country (York), and we can take your Canary up the strip and see how it compares to PROPER Track cars, and not a "souped up" town car. ...honestly, talk stands for nothing.

20mm spacers compared to Hybrid Turbochargers & Actuators, FMIC's, Uprated Cams, Lightened & Balanced flywheels, TC Anti-Lag systems ... serious performance!

I believe he did leave it 4 days ago

Plus why compare a modified road car to "PROPER" track cars?

Why not compare the "PROPER" track cars to F1 cars? Or Jet Cars... oh no, i forgot... that would be silly!

Can you live with a "PROPER" track car day to day? Probably not... the Ibiza?? Certainly... as he's said he puts the real work into other projects.

As you mentioned in one of your previous Theads, we all drive SEAT, so share the same interests - totally agree.

Well all the best with your runs at Santa Pod, will be interesting to see the split times on the Slip - bet you can't wait, having recently had your chip fitted!?

Peace out! ;) :D

Spacers will increase the load on your bearings, the better way to achieve a track width increase with no extra bearing load is to space the stub axles. I expect most on here would probably not understand why. . . . .
