did anyone buy an lcr after owning a diesel?

Don't get me wrong, i normally only manage 22-25 so this was somewhat of a milestone! Somehow i managed 40mpg out of my old Golf VR6 on a slow run to Birmingham and back.....i must just be talented!

Talented? It sounds like all your journeys are downhills!

my leon tdi 130 running a van arken box is quicker than the 2.8 vr6 lighter car aswell. but tune a petrol and a diesel would never touch it unless u do serious mods. i actually get better mpg wiv the van arken on than with it off!! figure that one out! normally 450 a tank at 130 with the van arken on about 170 i get 500+

I bet you don't get better economy if you were to plant your right foot everywhere. I can understand you would get better economy if you use the Van Aaken box and not planting your right foot.
