Hey Lads. Just wondering if anyone has anything to say about these things. I see that Halfords has a deal on at the moment which includes the item plus free fitting for £99. Have done a search for any threads about this item, but can only find stuff about the CK3000 (Non Evolution Version). Im just interested in anyones experiences with using it, if its compatitable with most phones and how easy it is to install, cos I dont think I trust anyone from halfords to install this in my car if I buy one. I have a 55 plate FR TDI by the way. Thanks for your help and views.

Why not get the CK3100? They are less than that supply only and are plug and play. I had the CK3000 and have a CK3100 and the CK3100 is much better (mostly because of the possiblity to have menus for odd phones, etc).

Ditto.

I paid £90 for a CK3100 for the wifes car. Took me about an hour to fit.

So whats the advantages with the CK3100? Is it not just something else for the chavs to spot and try and steal, compared to the CK3000 which is a lot more inconspicuous?

I wouldn't think they are really considered stealable as they are fully fitted. Not something like a Tomtom that you can just reach in and grab.

I don't think that the CK3100 is that much bigger to be honest but it an LCD screen so you can see who's calling etc.

They come with ISO cables attached, so as long as your radio has ISO connector, which I think it has, then its just a case of uplugging it all together.
