Just wondering what your average miles to a tank is?

I've got the 2.0l 8v and the most I've had is 320 out of £40. Last time I filled up it was £35 (40litres) and it only got 270.

They were a fun 270miles but its not really that econmical. lol

I've been putting in £25 of shell unleaded and getting about 135-140 miles back!

Doesn't sound that great but it must be down to the stop start nature of my journey!. 20 mile round trip with about 6 miles in heavy traffic.

I have achieved 43mpg + on longer trips!

Get around 32 mpg when driven locally (330 from a tank) , but goes to 40mpg (400 +) on a long trip at around 75mph. Mine's a rechipped 8v.

£20 = about 150miles on average for me

Works out about 13p a mile

Much better on motorway trips at sensible speed.

Have a look at the trip comp on MPG for the first 5mins ya driving, MPG is doubled for at least 2mins, so take it easy until warmed up.

Damn you all. I fill up from when the light comes on till full, so that's about £35. And I get...............around 220 miles. Damn 16v, why does it have to be sooo much fun to drive it like you stole it ;). Saying that, about 2/3 of the tank is used up by commuting on the motorway at 80, which theoretically should be quite economic.

when i picked mines up from england > scotland 2 weeks ago i managed to get nearly 350 miles out of £30! i was amazed, it was hitting 45.2mpg at one point on the M1 north

around town i get about 22>25mpg

mixed journey has always worked out about 30-33mpg, which i can live with as i dont drive for a long period of time or to and from work!

I've actually no idea! I'd like to wait until the light comes on for filling up, but with my dashboard lighting problems I have a feeling that light doesn't come on! I shall check the milage next time I fill a full tank.

How do you measure your Mpg so accurately?!
