That is hilarious..... Turn it round and you have the same thing all the old fogies buy from Wilkinsons.... they go at the top where your belt loops in the hook so you have a little slack.

So the belt isn't too tight..... Funny as fcuk! :roflmao:

They were very popular on the forum for a previous car, (MR2), but I haven't tried one myself.

Thanks Rob!
Have had quite a response... we think the CG-Lock will be excellent for the standard cupra seats!

surely it would be just as easy (and cheaper) to push your seat back one notch, tug the belt til it locks then move your chair forward again so there is no slack and the belt is tight against you. this sounds a bit too ecotek to me.

I had a CG Lock on my Cupra R, And as it was on my previous car also, it still felt right in place. To be honest, I feel awkward getting in a car without it. For the price there sold for, is a bit OTT. But luckily there's a place, which undercut that ;)

I wouldn't be without it.

Right, just so you 'orrible lot know, myself and one other forum member have been given the chance to review this product :)

The plan is to fit it to our cars, give it a good and fair test is as many situations as possible and feed back our thoughts to the forum. I can't speak for the other forum member, but personally (as I'm sure people will know from reading my threads) I'll be calling it as I see it. If this product turns out to be a load of tosh, I will call it a load of tosh. If this product turns out to be worth buying, I'll recommend buying it. It really is as simple as that.

I'm not 100% sure how long to give it, but I think it will probably be a couple of weeks at least to really give it a fair test, if not longer? I'll be making notes as time goes on and once I'm happy with my thoughts, I'll post the comments back here.

To the other person testing these: Can you please drop me a PM? ;)

No, I just wish people would contact us (as we request) before posting comercially.

We often say 'yes' - but it's always nice to ask

I'm sure they are, but people on this thread slated them and I'm sure not everybody has heard of them, so it's got to be a good thing to get an independent view on them, right?
