The Brakes are single pot 345mm brakes... They don't need to be Brembo/AP though.... they're more than capable to repeated stopping.

The turbo runs quite low boost @ 0.8bar (S3 runs a bit more) - presumed the same though we couldn't get access to the parts we needed

Review is written, formatted & uploaded - just awaiting Z's images

Thats a shame

Tris.... trust me, they work really really well.

a good 20 mins across country "hard" and the brakes worked as well as they did in the carpark.

I am sure they do
I has only thinking of the fact that people always want to change things
(it would be one less thing to change)
I am happy with the normal calipers i have now that i have good disc's & pads so i am sure they are spot on

For what it's worth in the Autocar test this week the Cupra just outbraked the Golf GTi, Golf R32 and Audi S3, although none of the VAG cars performed especially well at braking.

0-100 mph in 15.3 sec by the way.:)

I noticed in Evo, that the Leon FR had one of the best stopping times too... Must be something about the design of the chassis to produce more grip under braking...... Not that i'm complaining :)

Sat in a Cupra this morning  , the seats are awesome!!

Feels good sat in the cabin, liking the black interior and if I am honest the plastic is not that bad.

Can't really tell the difference from the outside from the FR but it sounded nice.

ARRRGH! I live 2miles down the road from the Dakota and My dealer never invited me.... Still I've just chewed his ears off and should be getting mine next week on launchday, shame it's not tomorrow, would have been the best birthday present ever... Just had a callback from Willoughby Garages, STILL not got the build week yet... To say I'm miffed is an understatement, I ordered mine in October!!!
