Jones, do you find the economy has changed since the engine is properly worn in? Ive only done 25k and economy could be better, but I put it down to not being worn in yet.

The way I drive it's never been that good

but seriously haven't really noticed any change, it gets serviced every 10k without fail so it's kept tip top

yeah still alot to go till its fully loosened up, at least 30k i would say. But from experience it would seem some VAG TDIs are just more efficient than the next car in the line. odd.

Good on you Jonesy... I've just clock 70K in mine, so she's due her 10k service... fuel wise, though 35k on a derv seems to be a good point to start taking a mean average... However after 60k timing belt change it got better again....

Ah but I had mine re-timed with my chip included Thats why it got better

yeah mine should be re-timed, is standard procedure when doing a cambelt on a non PD ive read.
