Hello,

My wheels are a little bit damaged, so i want to respray the wheels.

Any of you have a picture of a black LCR with dark or antracite wheels

thanks

Another pic

Still no stills as yet, sorry

Will add some if still needed when I next put wheels back on

Black on black always looks good, but I think the tyres let the look down as it's hard to keep them looking black for long. That's why I'd go for a dark grey instead, so the tyres don't stand out so much and spoil the look. Same goes for shiny wheels too I guess.

That's evil, sorry to go off topic but i want to do something like that with tints, smoked rear raid lights and smoked headlights (nightrider?). Were'd you get those headlights from and what susspension set up you got mate.

Contacted Wheel Styles and they quoted £65 per wheel to strip and refurb the OE LCR alloys in the finish above.

I think thats pretty good, but i've got nothing to compare it to.

any thoughts?

Don't think that sounds too bad, thats probably what i was expecting to pay when it comes to getting mine done. But again i can't give comparison having never had it done.

Can remeber reading about some place on the interent that gives you a set of wheels (manufacturers standard) to fit whilst the do the refurb on your wheels, might be worth looking into.

I've emailed them to ask how long it takes, i've got no idea.

I don't have a place i can keep the car off the road with the wheels off so I would have to leave it with them.

I'll let you know as I see you're in bristol as well.

if you could m8 that'd be great.

Stil trying to work out what colour to get mine done (red LCR) can't decide what'd look better anthracite above or a bright silver.

I've been having the exact same dilemma! I don't think I'll really have made my mind up until I get it booked in and then have to make a snap decision:doh: !!!

I really like the idea of anthracite (I also have a black clio 182 with the anthracite rims, and they look great...), but also think that a proper clean shiny silver will really highlight the wheels and make them look huge....

Let me know if you get yours done, and I'll keep you posted likewise!

Apologies to anyone who has the darker wheels but I think this looks chavvy / Max powerish. The LCR wheels come slightly smoked as standard and for me this looks perfect.

I have to agree with you. If you want your wheels to stand out then the silver is better. From a distance you cannot make out the pattern on black wheels they just dont stand out enough. Only advantage I see is they hide the brake dust and would not need cleaning as much.
