tried doing a search but i can only find threads on the hose coming off at the join with the wiper motor.

are the any other joins in this water hose from the water bottle, where it can come apart that people know of?

Thare is a join under the ABS pump in the engine bay.If that fails work the washer and see where the water comes out.

the pipe has come off on the bulkhead behind the ecu above the abs, its in a right b*tch of a place! somebody at SEAT had a flash of brilliance putting a join there!!!
i tried unclipping the ecu to create a bit of space to get at it, no chance!
i reckon i might have to take the air filter box off to put it back in, unless anybody can tell me an easier way?

fixed the loose hose by the bulkhead :) , now when i engage the rear wiper wash the liquid pours out of the drainage holes in the metal cover under the fuel tank   !!!!

has any body had this similar problem in this area?

any ideas as to where ther is a join in the hose that would cause a water leak in this area?

there is another right angle joint in the rear quarter panel near the fuel tank about parcel shelf height .i had to plug mine together there first the boot went then the one in the quater panel. this will be the second time i will have to fix this one. you have to remove a couple of plastic trim to get to it. going to do a guide when i get round to fixing it

is this right angle joint on the drivers side?

do i access this from inside the boot or from the underside of the car?

its in the boot on the drivers side the carpet will probably be damp and check your spare wheel as the water can be lying in and around that area

its easier to find if you get somebody to engage the wash wipe whilst looking into the engine bay.
the one end is facing upwards so be careful not to get a facefull of suds!!

finally got a spare hour to take the interior panels off over the drivers side rear wheel arch!

found the right angle join, eventually! once i'd removed the centre panel (around the boot door catch), then the panel up the side and the pice which the parcel shelf sits on! [:@]

plugged it back in, engaged the wiper, boot lid cover full of screen wash!!![:@]

so off that comes and in the process, broke some of the clip locations on the inside of the cover, SEAT didn't make it easy to remove this cover, but probably did enough to warrant quite a few after sales of this cover panel through breakages!

plugged the hose back onto the back of the wiper motor, engaged the wash wipe, nozzle blocked![:@]
so after a couple of hours in total trying to rejoin sections of this hose back together, at 3 places in total, it still ain't working yet!!!

any body know the part number for the little plastic nozzle bit with the jet spray hole that locates in the hollow bolt which holds the rear wiper arm on??
