I picked mine up last Friday.
Love it.
I paid £8250 for it and I reckon it's really good value for money.
It looks just like the FR with the 16" alloys it's got the steering wheel controls, air con, sports seats,Digital stereo that plays MP3's etc.
I can't think of another car for that kind of money that looks as good.
It's also a low insurance group.
I think you'll find the 130 has a lot more torque as well as the extra bhp so not sure how you'll like that.
I am still running the car in but it dosen't feel slow.
If you do a search you will find a few other posts about it.
Here's a pic of mine when I picked it up at the dealer.

I've got a 1.9TDI Ibiza DAB - absolutely love it.
Extras are great but it's the engine that impresses. Still plenty in reserve at 80 on the motorway and fuel economy is good (c.52 mpg)
Paid under £10k for mine, new - speak to Insider!! :)

Not sure who you were asking - but mine (1.9TDi DAB) was a few pounds under £10k (list price is £10500) with mats & wine thrown in too. That's from the SEAT dealer in Leicester.

Petrol version of the DAB - 1.4 list price is £8995 or something like that - aim to pay £8.5k

I was dithering between the petrol and diesel, but I'm so glad I went for the diesel. good fun to drive - no effort.

sucks so much. Got my DAB last Sept for just over 10K. 1.4 Although I went for 5 door option. And I dont get steering controls & only 4 speakers even though the dealer promised 6! What a joke.
My DAB didnt even work so its going back to the dealer tomorrow 5K miles later.... to get it fixed!
We've been long term customers now. 7 years. And they chuck it back at you and say that if I want the extra 2 speakers I would have to pay an extra £100!!! What a joke... next time we get new cars it definatly isnt going to be from Seat! Brilliant cars, can do good deals as we've had. But after time they dont seem to care about their long term customers!

1.9TDI vs 1.4 petrol

GO DIESEL! Much better engine economy & performance.

You'll regret the petrol despite the extra toys.

You can get the DAB in 1.9 diesel version - economy, performance AND toys. I heard the only 1.4 petrol DABs available are those actually sitting in dealerships
