Help! - Which spec on FR tdi

Hi! - new to this board!

About to purchase a FR tdi 130 ibiza and was wondering what spec to go for? Xenon lights are a must but other than that I'm unsure - is the ESP worth it?

Also, my old man has his TT chipped through the cruise control button (to turn on and off and to lock it out should he take in for a service then they can't tell) - is this the same with a re-map on ibiza? just not sure if I can justify the £500 option package to get cruise control!!

Thanks

agree with the xenons m8, ESP from what i've heard is meant to be quite good, but i've never driven a car with it in.

most people get the Revo remap on here, which you can get a SPS switch to turn the map settings back to standard when you have servicing etc (it plugs into the diagnostic port). For SPS1 and revo remap, i paid bout £640.

Yeah, would love a cupra TDI, but the insurance doubles to £1600 - fook that!!
When your in a cupra, how often do u notice the ESP kick in? is it worth 400 of my hard earned punds?

Also, what bhp did that Revo chip take you up to?!?

cheers

kicks in now and agian when shifting round roundabouts and if you hit a oil patch it sorts it out.

fr understeers more so image it would useful also a good safety feature for wet/snow/grease etc

Revo state map is meant to increase the power from 130bhp to 180bhp, and the torque from 229lbs/ft to 300lbs/ft.

I havn't been on a rollin road yet, although should be in the near future, but i keep up with most 200bhp petrols i know the owners of, so i rekon it must b running roughly wot revo state.

ESP is a deffinate option for me, and works a treat in the snow. Also i have curtain airbags aswell.

Thinking about it....£400 is the same as the excess I would pay on my insurance if I go over that oil patch...just a lot less hassle so it kind of justifies it!! as long as it doen't restrict driving fun like some traction controls do....

its part of a pack with curtain airbags and washer jets 4 headlights I htink and £500!! - not arsed about any other features in the pack though - if I don't need cruise think I might swerve it!
