agreed, but fingers crossed! lol

il make sure i bed them in very carefully for the first 350 miles to try and help!

i really hope they dont crack, i mean they are very thick and i find it hard to believe/see that they can/could crack (tho im sure they could under VERY high pressure/use!)

also if drilled discs are so prone to cracking, surely porsche/tvr etc etc wouldn't use them and also brake manufactures (brembo etc) wouldn't manufacturer them for road cars?!

oh well fingers crossed!

and porsche ones crack too.... just take more abuse and more time.
just drilling holes in an otherwise stock disk, like reddot do and others, does'nt make for long disk life.
get em hot, get em cold, get em hot, get em cold, etc etc and the stress cracking will start to propogate from the drilled holes, and over time join up to make BIG cracks. (wear ripply also whilst doing all this)

This is the reason I simply refuse to supply anyone drilled disks.

Hope you get a reasonable lifespan out of yours. If you use em hard, I would'nt expect them to last long. Depends on your driving style.. like Mrs Daisy or Colin McRae

good luck

 You only learn when it cost money!

yea sods law, tho i was only warned by bill after i had purchased these! (not that bill needs to warn me! lol ;))

i must admit i had heard that drilled discs can crack, but i prefer the looks of drilled discs to groved ones (good excuse lol), but it was such a good price for the discs AND PADS that i thought it was worth the risk (and still do!)

also in the back of my mind i cannot help but think well if drilled discs are THAT bad then manufactures would not use them as OEM equipment...

anyways i dont want to dwell on this as i dont have any choice but to make sure i bed them in 110% and see what happens! (if anything does happen il be contacting the seller!)

anyway like i said i dont want to dwell ppl, so lets see what happens, fingers crossed! :)

oh and i had my Castrol super dot 4 fluid put in today by SEAT... done 60 miles so far on this new set up, and already i can feel they are a lot stronger than my oem discs with galfer 1045 pads!

look the poodles plums mate and for the same price as standard ones, my discs need changing at my next service according to star performance and i've only done 30 thousand now. so i dont know how long your supposed to get from drilled ones before cracking, but i cant imagine that its much less than 30 thou. probably wrong but anyhoo looks dont come cheap.

Brakes look cool J@MES, i had my Zimmerman drilled discs and redstuff pads fitted on saturday, along with new brake fluid aswell, amd have already done 230 miles on them, very light braking though, will wait till 300 miles then start to test them a bit more :D Mine were slightly cheaper than yours though ;)
