Probably wouldn't be used for towing, just a bike rack. But what happens to the warranty on your engine when they see a car fitted with a bracket when it shouldn't have one on? Would be UK warranty, not Dutch etc.

Mind you, once fitted it probably would get used for towing.

I have a car specc'd up with options (inc Luna grey surprisingly) and a towing bracket, with a request for delivery date. We'll see what comes back

:D

Cupra was specc'd a few weeks ago, before I'd decided to look at the beemer ;) It's a plan B.

I don't think I can wait until June for one though...

.Couldn't knock me up a Candy White photoshopped FR with 18's could you????

Here you go Steve. Not brilliant, but should give you an idea (of course the front bumper strips would be white as well (someone had painted this Cupra style and I'm too tired to change those back :) ).

Ta Andy. :)

You traded your Z for a hang glider now? I suppose it beats the traffic in the mornings. ;)

Scott

Ha ha. Nah, still got the Z. Don't really drive it much at the mo. In fact I took it out for a blast this afternoon......once I'd jumped it off the missus' Civic. I realised I hadn't started it for three months.
I walk to work and if the weather is good I have a ahem Astra Estate to take the hangy to the hills.

However, I'm considering another VAG car. I'm thinking chop the Z and the Astra in and get a 2001/2002 RS4 Avant. Practicle and fun? :)
Thing is with the ride height I doubt it would get up any tracks that the Astra can't even with 4x4.

Autocar are due to publish a First Drive test of the Leon Cupra UK on 13th February, so it looks as if they might be appearing on our roads this year after all.
