It was amanda's on here. Arosa Racers better half... it got killed and now they have another Leon. It was a lovely arosa though!

I saw the 'killed' bit on Arosaracers' sig - should we club together and get flowers ?!! Was a lovely Arosa.

Hmmmm - could really do with cleaning my car. So its just a dead gearbox ? I was thinking that you'd had an accident or that it had been abducted by alien squirrels. :blink:

where as mine at one point was that boggin that i got pulled over by the police and told to clean the plate as they couldnt see it , other than that theres a FAIR few toys getting thrown at mine in teh next few weeks and months ;)

whole rear beam from a loop GTi inc rear anti-roll bar , and the rear disc brakes rather than drums is soon to be fitted as well as the dumpy wing mirror , and coilovers as well as ive just changed to ATE fast road use front discs and pads

I dunno when I'm gonna get round to refurbing my alloys........

But I found the white ones again - they were hidden under all the dirt :lol:

same as me nic then , i found out where my plat grey arosa went , twas under the 8inches of dirt :lol: mind you then again it was also a protective coating , if somebody went to scratch the car they would of just scratched the dirt

I washed mine today and managed to get all the old wax off the stupid bumpstrips. I wish I hadnt as I also found a few more scratches - think I might let the dirt rebuild on it.

Im getting some ibiza cupra calipers put on the front with 280 discs. I found out the arosa sport discs are 256x20 not 22.

olw can you tell me how you get on with your arb please. I also want to drop mine 60 but im just going for springs and shocks prolly off that philj guy.

also lunilupi and owl how much have or are you gonna drop ures by?

mine , in short , the rears will not have the ajuster rings in at all they will be removed so the rear tyre will sit about an inch into the arch and the front all teh way down

with the ARB from the GTi its welded on to the rear beam so i have been told

as for you upping to the 280mm brakes you wont need the calipers , you just need to replace the caliper carrier on yours to G60 280mm carriers then change the discs ;)
