well forge fitted this one and it didnt take them long at all, from memory they took the panel from underneath and loosed the pipe from below. the New pipe fitted a treat

They will fit the cupra aswell as the FR.

cheers mate, how much are they?

they look pretty good in the enigne bay, is the exact thing im after! do you reckon, if i went up to forge they wud be able to fit it for me as i would rather have it done properly than try to to it and possibly muck it up myself!?

whats the dynatwist like, are they any good?

At the moment i have no idea what there going to be selling for. I believe forge do fit these for a fee best to ask them when the pipe released.

The Dynatwist are not to bad if you have the heat sheild off you get a nice growl and the Woooosh of the DV, im actually selling mine and going to run a modifed air box with a green panel filter.

evo if you want the dump noise and the performance of having the air inlet pipe you will lose the growl but get a much loude hiss by bypassing the n249 valve just done this on mine and it sounds suttle and sporty :p

Do you know when Forge will begin the distribution of this part

I will make a remap on my FR at the beginning of Mars and I want to install the TIP if possible !!

i fitted this yesterday evening but not driven it yet. its not hard to get on the turbo just tricky with lack of room. old one is hard to get off need colant pipe bracket removing and the bolt is hard to get to. ive logged my car with vag com on friday with standard tip and will log tonight and post graphs to show the difference and will say what its like on my car as im doing a bit of driving this aft

DV rubbing on strut brace... doh... Ended up twisting the stock TIP a little to stop it doing that.

How hard is it to connect it to the turbo? Can you see it once you remove the black protector from underneth the car?

ric if you have standard air box it clears by miles look at my pic below think its just the dynatwist sitting higher up.

you dont need to remove the cover underneath as we dont have a full length cover but still tight the drive shafts make it bit tight to reach but you can do it but only your right arm lol

afraid not mate could come through and it might not fit but no1 is gonna know until they try you wont have any trouble selling it if it dont as they arent on the market yet so might even beable to make a little profit but fingers crossed it will fit!

logged the car tonight, on paper not much difference slightly more boost and holds it better at the top end! few g/s more airflow, but the main difference is driving it! gave it a good pasting and feels much more responsive and turbo sound is alot louder. im probably not seening more boost as with the standard tip it was meeting requested pretty well so any extra boost is going to be vented i think, but worth getting in my opinion. will log later on when im running the car on the fuel that the map really needs! v power and octane booster and see if it look better then. but all in all very good and looks the part as well
