Im 99% sure its not the clutch, i can pull off quickly and it will sooner spin the wheels. I have never had the clutch slip on this one, unlike my old car where the revs would rise but i wouldnt go anywhere fast lol

The problem is still there unfortunately, i was thinking of having it looked at at the service.

Power Torque - could you give me a quote for a 30k service, info on who you use, what would be carried out etc.

Cheers

first step if it was me would be get it vag commed. after checking the clutch of course.

but also as said. test dv and check all pipework. id then check/clean the air filter. make sure youve got good air flow.

when my maf died i had irractic idling. but theres lots of symptoms if you read stuff on here. strange your issue is only between 2nd and 3rd?

vag com first tho before id spend any pennies

Nah its not just 2nd to 3rd, it does it between 1st and 2nd too, it only became a real issue when i was overtaking and happened to be in the gear!

Have to say the DV issue showed up in most gears in my car.....but it was intermittant, sometimes seemed fine other times it was bad. Then again I was probably running more boost than you

Get a specialist to take a look.
