f:censored:k it! they won't give me the code unless I let them code the key and they want about 30 euros for it,,, I'll deffo try and take out the transponder from the spare key I got,,, I don't know, do you think it can break with the hairdryer being glass? maybe I should try to thin out the glue with say some petrol? any idea?

i cant see a hair dryer getting any hotter than if you left your keys in the hot sun or something.

i soaked mine in ipa (the stuff for cleaning your maf) and levered mine out with a spring hook, i didnt think it was as fragile as people are making out. dont get me wrong though, you still dont want to break it

the flip key arrived today,,, despite being used it's in top notch condition [no scratches, no wear]

it's a siemens and it's the 433.92MHz version so I guess that we can say with certainty that the 7M3 959 753 part number is referred to this kind of key,,,

didn't try to code the remote yet since it has a blank blade but will get it cut this afternoon hopefully,,, will let you know how I get on,,,

all done and working :D

I'd like to thank you guys for posting all this info,,, I've done this just cos I had the info from you,,,

btw the transponder was a bitch to get out but it wasn't that fragile,,,

The only problem is that I can't code the new and old remotes at once,,, I mean I code the first, then I go for the second and it won't code,,, if I wait a bit and then code the second then the first won't work,,, any clue on how to do this? I followed the instructions in the user's manual and it didn't work,,, just one remote at once,,,

I bought a 2-button siemens VW flip key, and inserted the immobiliser into the key-car starts with this but I cant get the key programmed into the car to work the remote central locking. The part number of this key is siemens SME 433.92 MHz 7M3 959 753F.

Is this the wrong key and does it have to be the alhambra key? I tried both methods of programming the key listed on this post, but with no success.

The only result I got was that the LED flashed 5 times then nothing. The batteries are ok. Why will it not work?

The car is a late 2002 Ibiza Cupra mk3
