how much air do you think the cooling fan on your pc shifts? because that's what this is.

You'd be better putting the money in a charity box.

Just have a think for a minute about the number of horse power a turbocharger extracts from the exhaust to do its job, or the engine power a good supercharger needs. Then think about the size of electric motor needed to do the same thing and the amount of electricity needed to run it.

Then compare it all with that piddly little thing..................

well obviously a turbo charger is a better modification but i know it looks and sounds **** but there is a chance it could give you better bhp increase than a slap on airfilter but as i say trial and eeror really crap or ok mod! i personally wouldntput 1 on my car but hey thats my opinion

i think in evo they said the supercharger on the jag xjr used 70bhp, so to get 20bhp extra you'd need at least a couple of horsepower, which would be an electic motor similar to you starter, if not bigger.

i guessing that the 20bhp is a little pile of pelican poo! but not saying it dont have a chance on working cant see it personally giving much more gains if any than a standard airfilter but hey no1's tryed it!! or seen it!

I noticed the ebay link pic has a fake dump valve thingy photochoped onto it

with all that boost maybe an intercooler would be in order, or another fan directed at the intake to cool it

or stick an extractor fan in the tailpipe to help extract the hot gasses

or turn your sub in your boot to face backwards to give extra thrust

or fit a big spoiler on your boot with self tapping screws to increase downforce

or deflate your tyres a bit so that they are super low profile but only at the bottom

:clown: all good mods honest guv :clown:

there was another thread about these not long ago basically they are not going to suck enough air in with an electric motor then as the revs get up its not going to do much is it have to say good idea just not gona work very well might be better on them remot conrol fuel cars!

Joking aside, I've seen vids where a leaf blower or hair dryer (on cold) was used (mains powered though :D ) - and yes it did increase power like a turbo would have done.

Not quite practical though on the road :p
