Some colour vacuum pipe would be a start. You can paint your rocker cover and inlet manifold.

This is mine

This is what I've done to tidy mine up, hoses will have to wait for the time being but it's a (relatively) quick fix in the short term. I've still got to sort the 20vt bit out yet...

cheers mate - Halfords matched the paint for about £7 and my friend has a compressor with a spray gun/airbrush that we did it with. Came out quite well I think.

I think the gloss black changes it quite a lot.

That looks by far the best way to me. Just needs some little bits like polished inlet mani etc. The rest are far too fussy for my likeing

Matt,

what type of black is your manifold coated in. Its something i plan on doing next year to tidy my engine bay up along with cleaning and painting my engine cover.

Iam not totally sure, it was something lying around at our unit.

But it is matt black textured paint. Similar finish to type R rocker covers.

They all look nice!! I might look into doing this on mine i think........spose the wallets gonna take a beating again.

Not really, depends how far you want to go. I'm quite happy to follow Darrens lead as i think it looks good, along with cleaning the rest of the engine bay, and i know it didn't cost a packet to do.

Then again, you may be a person who wants to change 90% of the hoses on your cupra, which is where the money is i think.

Good luck in whatever choice you make. :D

Easy enough to tidy things up without spending money just look at the one above with the sweet cover. Add some bling to that and it would be awesome, like strut brace and various caps.

I went a different way with bling, and i'll be ditching more stuff in the bay like SAI, PCV and carbon cannister to make it more 'bare'
