New LOW mileage LCR Mk1

Afternoon All,

Please forgive me as this post is nothing more than an attempt to share my excitement.

Not being keen on the shape of the MK2 Leon, I have been searching for a low mileage LCR.

Well, I just picked one up which was registered in January 2006 with......196 miles on the clock! I'm in

The car has been registered to Seat UK but I wasn't able to find out what they had been using it for. The girl at the dealer reckoned it was a display car at the Seat training centre.

Anyway, I've done over a 1000 miles in it now and the drive is spectacular.

To any A14 rangers, give us a flash!

Cheers,

Keith.

nice find, what price was it, just like having delivery miles o if you go to the dealer they will reset it back to 0 as its under 200 or either 2000 i think it is,

It was £14,995 but 9.5K with trade in on my last Cupra (also got an extra year's warranty). Its a company car so I didn't argue too much about the price :D

I feel so lucky to have it when a lot of the other guys drive the standard Mondeos/Vectras.

Find out what month it was built in, that should give you and idea of how long its been in the uk. At least its a 2006 registered model, so shouldn't be one of the track day cars. get it pluged into vag com and get the milage checked. should be no more that 5% different from the speedo.(if you can do that on the cupra r)

Surrey darling...
Was the car in Bournmouth? I saw one advertised on the trader with 200 miles on it but was a 05 plate!

Happy enough with the 6K on mine just want to have it now and not have to wait for another 3 weeks!

Hi Nige! Yeah logical progression from the C I guess :D

Think we have a few other corrado forum members lurking on here too - but not seen anyone else to say hello to yet :)
