Spykes Figures are fine, as are Awesomes.
Its well proven that in 80% of cases the 130PD produces 140+ Fly HP, same rule with the 150 and 160. If you think that "Clive's" rolling road is perfectly accurate as your car attained its book figures thats just ludicrous. Its more likely that his was reading low on your pre-map run.
Andys was done on an Awesome rolling road day with many other cars straight on/off. Mine was done on the same rollers and got what i expected, again on a RR day with similar cars all producing their expected output. There was even a 2.0 Mk2 16v Cupra that produced only a few bhp BELOW the engine run on an actual Engine dynamometer. AFAIK awesome dont use a rule-of-thumb figure to give a generic Fly number, they actually use the rundown (took ages on mine as it was going 120mph
) to get actual tranny losses...
Oh and im not an everyday Awesome customer defending them - my car gets work done at JBS, however know that Awesome are excellent nonetheless.
