HELP, Clutch probs

Need help,

This morning got in my car to go to work, started it up, pushed the clutch down and tried to select a gear- would not go in ANY gear at all!
The pedal still seems to feel the same, although it does push right down to the floor, with little force, but returns back up quickly as usual.

Cant understand why this could suddenly happen though.

I have just tried bleeding it, and its fine.

Do you think it could be one of the cylinders failing?

Need to get it fixed quick.

Also,

The pedal is pulling the rod out of the master cylinder fine too.

It just wont go into gear at all.

Isn't this normally the clutch plate not releasing !! Was on my old 5 Turbo !!

Yeah thats what it is.

Well, spent £100 on master and slave cylinders, only to find out after fitting them that my clutch had somehow siezed closed!?

We rocked it in reverse for a bit and it freed off.

Has anyone else had this happen before?
Seems a little odd- hope it doesnt happen again.

Perhaps it was the wet weather we have been having, some water got in and made it rust up a little?

Is this a common problem then?

Happened to anyone else? - Just dont want it to go wrong again, even whilst driving.

Well doesnt sound like a major problem mate, my whole pedal assembley box broke which was 250 quid to replace, as long as the pedal still has the normal tension you should be able to sort it soon, but watch out for the pedal assembly box, they are a common fault, depending on year of your car.
