I've heard of this happening on a few, only once on mine though and that was due to the frost making one of the covers stick. I think it mak be due to the amount of time you hold the washers on for, I think if the time you hold them is too short, they pop out, don't spray and start to go back into the bumper before fully extended.

Just a thought though!

i ghave the same problem on mine but it seems they catch on the covers and can`t retract at all. stops me using em cos they stay popped out. must ring stealers and get them sorted along with the bit of trim in the middle of the top of the dash that won`t sit right and keeps popping up.

they definatly come as standard on the fr but can be purchased in the lux pack too maybe havent looked into them as cant see them making much diffrence??

sorry to burst your bubble, they are not standard on any Ibiza, but part of the lux pack.

the lux pack 2 is only available on the FR as it has some of the features as standard.
Lux pack 2 cost £275 and consists of
Headlight wash
heated washer jets
foldy mirrors
electro dimming mirror
rain sense wipers

Here in Finland all FR's (or any Seat) have headlight washers as stock. And many facelift FR have that problem that they stick and stay up. Or the cover flies away..Haven't heard of a cure for it yet, I'll post it if I here or read about it.

cool, so has anyone else attempted to fit washer to the head lamps?

In fact, do you think they make much difference at all?

It would be good if I could get the Fr lux Pack to fit my Ibiza S though!
