Base model vs Cupra

Hi peeps. Just fitted some cupra interior parts to my 96 CLS. But im having a bit of bother with the gators for the gearstick & handbrake. I dont seem to have anything that will attach the leather to the handles, if that makes sense? Gravity just keeps pulling them down! Do i need different handles?

ps- does any1 know if there is such a thing as "Black lexus" lights for the mk2? & not those horrid 3d efforts!!

dont understand the gaitor question fully?

i had a leather gaitor on my gearstick from a golf.. i used a small ziptie/cable-tie and cut the excess off...

dont get the lexus style lights.... look tacky... IMO of course.

Put he gaiter on, then the gearknob. Pull the gaiter over the gearknob so you can see the inside of the gaiter. Get a cable tie and zip it up as tight as it'll go at the base of the gearknob. Cut the excess, pull the gaiter back down, hook it round the centre console and admire!

This would surly work with the handbrake as well?

Thanks for the pic of the black lights. I like lexus lights but EVERY set i see on the mk2 is always clear/silver & it just doesnt go with the black/red reflector on the boot

ps- im waiting for a set of "speaker boxes & pockets" that attach to the lower door cards. How do i attach these? "3m" or screwed thru the back?

Unscrew all the bolts, don't get impatient and pull it apart.

It really is a piece of p*** if you take your time.
