Just had a look around for some cupras on e-bay and autotrader.co.uk and seen a couple that have taken my interest, so fingers x'd.

I have had a quote back from Adrian Flux and thought it was preety cheap at £370 tpft and £628 fully comp. im 24, live in leicestershire, 3 speeding points and 4 yrs ncb.

is this good, bad, or ugly??

Yeh would like to see some pics of your wheels if possible. I seen a pic of a onvi yellow one with photoshopped porsche turbo wheels on looked pretty smart just dont know if they would actually fit or not.

Thats a nice quote mate i have prity much the same mods as you but without the k03s and intercooler and im paying over £1200 with bell mods not declared (yet), i have 1 years no claims and 1 crash with 14,000 costs nearly 2 years ago so i think ill be calling green light when i renew ;)

H & R 4 to 5 stud converts the spacer/converted bolts to the wheel then the wheels to the spacer/convertor. they are around £200 a set, cheaper ones are available but after driving my mates mk2 golf with a cheap set the vibration and feel is shocking. it also helps the offsret as the porsche ones are about et 52 they are a 20mm spacer making them et 32. thats some thing else to look out for when buying rims to use on a convertor/spacer system , dont go for an et of around 30 to start with else by time the spacers are on they will be about et10 and stick out miles.

You lucky lot, round here insurance is well expensive. Im 26 got 7 years NCB and the cheapest I could get was £725 FC !!

Adrian Flux who I was with the year before wanted £900+ to renew ! The area doesn't help though as its band H which is the highest car crime rating so I believe !!

Where abouts are you Leegt5? Mines is in Gloucester which also has a hight crime and death toll!! - due to too many bends! lol

look at a quote from Barclays, everyone else said between £750 and £900...

admiral which is alos elephant and diamond, will insure you with mods but when you have a bump wont replace the modified parts, just back to stock.

Careful on the tpft cause I've had quotes for it before.. but when I went to take out policy they said no can do for car over x value...

Also.. dunno if you've used Adrian Flux before they want every little detail about the mods... so whatever car you buy make sure you can get as much info from previous owners.. and photocopy the sheet before you send them it.. cause if you add more then you need to write everything down again.... you can't just add the new bits.. (tried and tested :()
