Cupra Vac hosing

Wanting to replace the vacuum hosing on my cupra with some silison hosing, what is the best size to fit 3 or 4 mm i.d and also will i need some pipe clips or will push fit be good enough?

3 or 4mm will be fine, alot of peeps have just used cable ties to fasten them (including myself) or you could get some clips

I just changed a few this morning, one from top of DV valve and some near the N249...the clips already on there are a pain in the arse to get off. I sued clips just to make sure. Its a small start and hopefully find a split one somewhere. PhilW has done most of his pipes and looks neat

I've just changed all mine around the N249 valve for 3mm which fits nice and snug with no clips. The DV vacuum hose needs to be bigger though as I can't get the 3mm hose over the DV nipple. I have a blue 5mm one (I think) on there at the minute. The only clips I've used is on the 5mm pipe from the DV where it connects to the N249 valve as it's not a snug fit. Maybe I need 4mm for that one?
