Hi all,

I have a around 10k to buy a seat lean cupra...been looking at vauxhalls but i think ill go with the Seat.

My question is regarding the wheels, if i really want black/dark alloys.

Does the leon require any suspension modding/other arch modding to fit 18" rims on?

No doubt ill have a few more questions....but thats all for now :)

Thanks

If you have 10k go for an "R" and get the wheels refurbed (they'll probably be a bit kerbed anyway).

You'll have 18s anyway then!

If you get a Cupra R (the red one above is a cupra) You'll need to find wheels that will fit over the brakes (4 pot Brembos) but you will have 18s to start with. :)

Dont forget 18" wheels require 18" tyres and they are NOT cheap, one of the main reasons i havent changed mine tbh.

not really the case mate, i've got kumho's on mine and they're really good tyres, only 65 quid each, you'll pay that for most seventeen inch tyres really, my ibiza was on 17 inch oz's and falken tyres for that cost 65 quid as well, and they're at the cheaper end of the market, if you bought goodyears which everybody on here says are fantastic it'll cost you 115 quid for eighteens, but i bet for the same tyre in seventeens it would cost at least 100 quid or more.
