I've searched for mpg stuff in the forum,

but basically how much miles does £10 give in the LCR? or £20 give?

thats driving normally and also thrashing it

bcoz thinking of buying one, just weighing up the running costs, but looks like petrol stations are the LCR's best friends!:worship:

If your gonna get a LCR, or Cupra putting in small amounts of petrol gives the impression of the car eating petrol. But to answer your questions, your looking at a combined mpg of around the 30mpg mark, thats with spirited driving and sensible driving over a week. If you drive silly your looking at the teens.
Roughly a tenner will get you about 60-80 miles. As always getting a high performance vehicle will result in increased fuel costs, looking at all hot hatches you will see the average mpg in real life being around 25mpg (minus diesel hot hatches, smug gits (in the best possible way of course)).

Would say its less than 80-100 miles as if you base it on that, your average petrol tank would be getting (440-550miles) assuming a 55 litre fual tank and £55 worth of fuel!

Average LCR tank is around 350 miles i would say so £10 would get roughly 65-70miles

well if 10quid is 10 litres worth (or so)
ibiza tank holds around 45 litres and gets ABOUT 300-350 miles

so according to this threads logic the LCR gets about 55 litres...so ibiza standard that would be 450 miles

but add to the fact the ibiza is lighter...id make it 400 miles to a tank in an LCR

now iv had a few (8) beers tonight but i dont reckon thats far off the average!!

LCR/Ibiza dont have same fuel consumtion rates though bud.

Most R owners will say 350 is norm! 400 and 450 can be reached but only on motorway journeys and driving like miss daisy:D

but surely thats mainly due to the cars weight, i wouldnt have thought the power difference will make much difference (obviously it will, but my ibiza which i like to think is around 220bhp gets 35mpg when driven old granny stylee and silly single figures when pushed)

either way my estimate seems pretty reasonable :D

My Leon can do 250-300 miles per tank, at a push, driving her nicely. £50 quid to fill up makes it about 50-60 miles per £10er.

Seems to be the consensus, scary huh, not many miles per £££

120 out of £10 if i drive sensibly.
70 out of £10 if i dont.

average mpg of 45ish its dropped lots of late and this troubles me!
