have you considered the management yet aswell?

what 'chip' do you have? might be beneficial to attempt to part exchange your ecu for a standard one so you can start fresh ready to be mapped properly

right now i have a standard K03 remap from a german tuner.
when the k04 is fitted it'll be remapped again (im not birdbrained :D )
aiming for ~260-270 bhp... wish me luck :)

just need spec clutch before fitting

So what is needed with the k04 then, apart from the modified downpipe? manifold, injectors??
Also how hard can I push my laguna intercooler, will it manage 250bhp and more torque?

i think it`ll also manage up to 300 bhp if you drive a K04-024 or garrett GT2X
just the temps are going stock like
now with the laguna IC im @ 40°C max and before ~70°C

you need:
-MAF
-manifold
-injectors
-k04 turbo (haha  )
-modified downpipe
-maybe oilcooler?

and i mean the UK ibiza have some problems with the k04 and the steering rod ?!

i have GOOD tyres... think toyo T1-R are good enough to handle this. if not, R888 :bleh:
and brakes... im on some leon cupra r brake calipers, so don't worry

HoocH no trouble at all :)
Im really tempted by this, my k03s doesnt feel enough anymore, revo stage 2 and downpipe/cat should keep me happy for a couple months though.
so what remap do you need to get then, cant you adjust the revo settings or would you need revo map say for a TT that has been made for that turbo? is it a simple upgrade or do you have to pay £500 again

got manifold
got down pipe, but im geting a stainless one made
got Samco Tip on order
just need maf housing and injectors

ive been told i can use 4bar fpr and standard injectors, they apparently just run inside there limits!? does anyone know any different?

Also do i use my ibiza maf sensor and 3" maf housing or use the 3" housing?

Don't do that, doesn't work fine. You need the gray TT 380cc's
ore the blue one's with a spacer. Friend of mine has finished his
K04 conversion and first run on the original injectors and MAF
And was only getting 240 bhp in the testrun and the car wasn’t
Running nice.

Wouldn't it have been better to use A&M motorpsorts AM04 turbo? isn't that in a K03s housing but the internals are uprated/bigger? or does that not yield as much gain as a K04?

it probably would have if you managed to get one, theres a waiting list

it depends how much of the work you can do yourself, can be a big saving. just depends what you prefer...work hard yourself and have some beer money or splash the cash but get it done easier

in truth theres probably not alot in it because you wont need the down pipe made

that's what i was thinking. doesn't need a specially fabricated downpipe. i rang Seat at the weekend and they tolf me it's £550 i think for the K04 turbo. that seemed pretty cheap. i think that was excluding VAT though. isn't the a&m one closer to £1000?
