max i got in was 63l

I got 59 litres back in mate when the tank was completely empty.

ie i had broken down:redface:

Fuel pumps need to be calibrated regularly to make sure the fuel company is not ripping off the customer! 1 litre needs to equal 1 litre.

It would hazard a guess in your case, that 1 litre dialling up on the petrol pump probably actually only put in around 0.95litres into the fuel tank!

It does happen especially when the pumps dont get calibrated often!

You've probably been ripped off a couple of euros

I filled mine up past the click/shut off aswell until a little bit of fuel poured down the side so it was definitely completely full and it was definitely completely empty as i had broken down:D

If you park stop, leave the engine running a press the button to unlock the doors the boot will lock itself after about 30 seconds.

The boot does all kinds of crazy stuff in its seemingly endless quest to stay locked.

REVERSE PARKING AUTO MIRROR ADJUSTMENT...

I have never tried it but, apparently you can set the N/S mirror to angle down automatically....so that you can view the kerb better (take care of those alloys!!) whilst reversing........

thats a stuffer!
Just read the manual to find out but couldn't see it.

I read some mad stuff about the computer, i didn't know about some of the stuff

Like you have 2 computers, 1 is started when you start the car and continues if you get back in within 2 hours, after 2 hrs it resets itself

The other is a total driving computer, so doesnt reset itself when you get in the car in the morning for work. it only resets when you get to certain mileage or driving time (100 driving hours or 10,000 KM)

temperature gauge doesn't read temp properly until the engine has been running for 5 mins

elec mirrors dont work for first 15 seconds

fuel calclation is based on consumption during last 50Km

objects may approach quicker than expected when u get a revo trial
.... ok that bit wasn't in the manual

If that were correct, how would it calculate it during the first few hundred yards? Plus my journey to work is less than that and it manages to calculate it fine?

Pedals are extremely slippy when your shoe is wet i.e. it's been raining outside.

Anyone ever got diesel on the sole of their show in a petrol station? Absolute nightmare even with rubber pedals let alone the R's metal ones!

not sure thats correct..

HOW DARE YOU CHALLENGE THE MANUAL! ;)

i didn't explain too well

page 2.10

FUEL (stuff left in tank)
Fuel calc is based on the average fuel consumption during the last 50KM

After resetting the fuel display the REAL fuel range will be displayed after approx 50 KM

...basically its useless to me unless i'm doing a long motorway drive at steady speeds

it uses your previous 50km journeys to calc it

If you drive like a c0ck for 50km, and it says you got 5 miles left in tank, then you slow down and start driving normal then you probably got loads more that 5 miles left in tank

if however you were driving sensible then you probably have got 5 miles left

Sorry, this is my mistake, when you said fuel calculator I thought you were referring to the calculator that works out your MPG! That's what I would have called the fuel calculator, so my mistake :)
