What do you think of these gauges?

looking to buy some gauges for the car and came across these,

I know the second website looks bit pants, but gauges look good and have the DEFI look about them, so go completly blank when off.


Boost and oil temp sensors are both electronic not mechanical, is it better to have electronic ones?

Some opinions please...

electronic has more setting up over a mechanical one, all of us except the defi users are all mechanical.

I'd go for a brand name Gauge, rather than an unknown company - more reliable and accurate ... something like VDO (I think the original Seat instruments are VDO), Autometer, GReddy, etc...

I do like the amber ones as they'd match the look of the standard dials in the car.

I quite like the amber ones too, what do you have to do to fit an electrical boost gauge over a mechanical boost gauge?

White dials on the gauges to match the instrument pack dials is the way forward IMHO. Glowing red/amber at night.

should get it next week hopefully, are they easy to install? do you have any wiring diagrams you could send me please?

Hi no i meant just general wiring? obviously must be positive and negative and signal.

Does it have an ignition wire and/or illumination wires? any other wires as well?
