one i found the other day on a track day, over about 110mph the drivers window will not close as the pressure inside must be too great so it just automatically goes right down again.

nope this is a safety feature for small children etc... ie. the car thinks something is stuck out the window (childs head/hand) and as a result it will go dow straigh away.

i have had this happen when i do the window up on the motorway cruising at 60 odd mph!

also the same has happened in a m8s LCR at same sort of speed. only happens in a blue moon, annoying when it does!

Ok not sure if it does this on the LCR, I know it does it on my LC, and it's stupid.

Start car, to wind window down press and release button, to wind back up press and release.

Now start car wind window down, then stop the car, now you have to hold the button to wind the window up, strange in what would seem to be the one circumstance where more than not you want to close the window fully.

I dont think you can master left foot braking either in an LCR as im almost sure when the foot is applied to the brake, you cannot accelerate aswell.

That is probably the safety feature which stops the window clsosing if it senses resistance. It happened on both the LC and LCR. If you are clsoing the window and go over a sharp bump the window will automatically wind down, also turning off the one touch close function until the car has been restarted.

 again!

really must read the whole thread before replying to posts!

Differently geared mate, nothing to do with the power output. The R does do over 60mph in 2nd on the speedo but not by enough when speedo innacuraces are takin into account!

My LCR does that mate - fuel gauge doesn't budge from full until I've done about 100 miles, then it plummets to zero!
