Remapped 130 pd

I have my ibiza fr tdi remapped. anyone else got a 130 tdi remapped, what bar is your turbo running. I'm got the map changed to run 1.65 bar. is this ok or should i keep it at 1.6 bar?

Have you got a FMIC?

Have you logged the differance in the two settings?

More boost may not mean more power

I pretty sure mine peaks at just under 1.7bar! i think it holds 1.55

But ive got an FMIC

i see spikes at 2 bar , then again i only have a 2 bar gauge , itll be grand

You better hope that the bearings or shaft go on the turbo before the vains shatter otherwise your need a new engine as well.

yea , dunno what yet tho mike , few options, 330cd is one option , fmic and remap sees 300 bhp and 480 ftlb minimum - sounds nice , also white mk5 gtis ,

dunno will see nearer the time

A BMW 330d sport or better still a 535d sport would tune up very well. 330d are going quite reasonable money as well secondhand.

No fmic just standard car. the fly wheel gives a sudder when accelerating at lower rpm. I'm gettin a different map put on the car today, i think it will bring the power in earlier. Dunno what boost it will be runnin then.

A standard 130 runs 1.35 bar and a good map does not need to increase boost by much over 10% so holding 1.50 bar should produce good figures if the rest of the map is performed correct

I got the torque raised today and turbo turned down to 1.6 bar. fuel up to bring more torque in graduelly earlier. Runs feels quicker mid range now but traction light comes on when accelerating in 2nd gear in the dry.
