and whilst i have your attention.... three days ago i replaced what i thought was a faulty coil pack, it kept sort of popping up a bit and creating a slight misfire, so off i whent to seat and 15mins later, i left with a spanking new one, got hohe and fitted the new one making sure it was pressed all the way in, built all covers and leads back up and thought nothing more of it thinking it was fixed, the next day on my way to work, hey presto i had i misfire and guess what i found when i removed the cover?

now i know im being greedy but,,,,,,,, on my passenger air bag cover on the dash it says its been disconected, when i took the glove box out to fit my head unit i found a small funny shapped block connector which looks like it should go into the air bag, as far as i could see, that is. i think there was a grey wire, any ideas on that one

No idea mate, airbags are dangerous things to play around with - never unplugged mine but as the connector is in the glovebox I assume there is a plug of some description which should be connected.

HI sorry to jump on your thread but the coil pack popping up all the time could you just not fit the bolt down coil packs as on the audi? (Sure I have read this some where).

On mine there is a disable switch in the glovebox that using the key you can disable the passengers air bag for kids seats? Could this be the box?

Just an idea? :)
