Hi,
just been on ATP's website and wanting to order either the GTRS or GT2X

turbo for the ibiza. Wondering if anyone has opinions on which turbo is better?

Also wondering if anyone has had any dealings with ATP? Any good?

Thanks

;)

have a searchy fella, we've been watching them from 2005 and theres a couple of owners have them now. gt2x for 280 brake sounds great as its got very little lag, the gtrs has a little more lag and more top end so its really what you want from it.

I have the GT2X mate. Very good kit to be honest. Mine develops 284 BHP with 296 IBFT. It pulls very strong from 3500 RPM to the redline on a 1.3 BAR map.

A worthwhile kit, When talking to Jim @ star performance i was in 2 minds wether to go for the GTRS or GT2X and he said GT2X every time.

GTRS is suposed to be nightmare to fit and if you want over 300 BHP you need the larger intake for it which fouls on the bell housing and gear selector cables on the ibiza. Mine is very very tight. Turns your quick ibiza into a very fast ibiza.

ok spot on Matt, your the second person thats told me the GTRS is a nightmare to fit!!!!

Looking to order it straight from ATP in America. Works out at £650(approx) I also noticed they supply injectors too. I don't suppose you know what CC the S3 injectors are?

Thanks again

Right, got an email back from ATP. They're extremely helpful!!! Gave me a quote for the GTRS and uprated injectors to suit. Works out at £1200 including delivery. Not bad, i've e-mailed them back explaining that i want the GT2X and injectors delivered. Still waiting for a reply....will keep everyone updated. Hoping to order tomorrow, payday : )

yeh, will be interesting. I'm very new to the Seat scene...so just trying to learn as much as i can in such little time. All the help i can get is obviously helpful too.

Don't wanna go too metal on power, i'd hope to see 300bhp. Then get a diff and clutch, oh and a good set of front tyres!!!

I'll be buying everything between this month and next...just waiting to hear back from people.

Thanks again David

do you honestly have the sort of money to just buy everything straight away...without owning the car a month?
do you actually have a figure that your gonna spend over all...i'd estimate its around £2.5-£3k

not being funny aswell but its a big hike in power, dont write the car off before you've owned it a month will you ;)

With out sounding rude, whether i have the money or not is really neither your problem or business  (i am really sorry if that sounds rude, it's just i am aware of how much everything is going to cost)

i used to own a Corsa Turbo (240-250)bhp, so handling isn't a problem, just hoping reliability isn't a problem either.

Thanks for your input.
