The CUPRA Terramar will be available with conventional gasoline powertrains as well as a new generation of plug-in hybrid powertrains that deliver around 62 miles (100 kilometres) in all-electric mode.
CUPRA EKS dominated this weekend’s opening round of the FIA ETCR at Circuit de Pau-Ville, with its drivers finishing first, second and third overall and CUPRA claiming the manufacturer’s award.
It would represent the single largest industrial investment in Spanish history. The Future: Fast Forward programme would include the installation of a battery cell factory in Sagunto, Valencia.
