SEAT and CUPRA UK is today announcing the appointment of Marcus Gossen as its new Director. He will start in the role on 1 September 2023.
Gossen has over 23 years’ experience within the automotive industry and first joined SEAT S.A. in July 2020. He has worked across a variety of disciplines, including the role of Managing Director for MAN Truck & Bus in several locations worldwide. His current role as Head of Sales, CUPRA & SEAT, Europe South and West has overseen UK performance.
He succeeds Richard Harrison in the SEAT and CUPRA UK Director role. Harrison will take a career break after 16 years with the brand which has seen SEAT sales peak at 3% market share in 2019 and CUPRA establish itself as the fastest-growing automotive brand in the UK.
Both SEAT and CUPRA have seen massive change in recent years. The success is clear for all to see, particularly CUPRA’s exponential growth, I am really looking forward to working even closer with the UK team as we accelerate that dramatic change further. It is an incredibly exciting time to lead these two brands.
