Can I get away with fitting these kits to my Leon Mk3 5f Engine Timing Belt and Tensioner and idler
I'm a car mechanic for 25 years wondering if I can get away with a stupid high £500+ bill from a garage

I think VAG advise to use VAS 611 007 tool on engines with ACT. This is an expensive tool! so will probably mean not many small garages/DIY can perform cam belt changes!
I don't know if you can use the 'mechanical' locking tool on these later engines? or if you need to use this digital tool?
