I heard about this ages ago, did some research and IIRC, you can set your own rev limits for perfect gear shifting

is this not "clutchless" gear changing?

like a quickshift on a bike, able to change gear on full throttle over / between a set RPM

Well this is their webpage where you can purchase it.

http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/wotbox

It has two functions, a 2-step launch control and a No-Lift Shift feature.

You can buy each function separate or purchase both for a discounted price.

The No-Lift Shift feature turns your ignition off every time you change gear, this means you can keep your foot down on the acceleration pedal when you change gear. When the ignition comes back on I am 100% sure that it will backfire. So a handy thing if you want to show off to your mates. But jokes aside, the main reason is to stay in your turbo boost.

The 2-step launch control sets your revs before you set off. This allows your turbo boost to kick in, when you set off you have the turbo to give you an extra push.

Don't trust me on this though, It's only my analysis after doing some research lol. It may be something completely different.

Load of sh1t, i know of a few people who have used WOT boxes and blew there engines up, one being my mate Dan on here with a MK1 LCR and has spent the best part of over a grand for parts! Got it running beautifully yesterday after a full rebuild and it just started tapping 10 mins after firing it up! One of the uprated exhaust valves has just snapped. Not good! Uprated parts broke aswell which is poor! I'd never touch one of these stupid boxes, not worth the costs in the long run

I have one, I bought it from the US site mentioned above. I'm running stage 2 revo over 300lbs of torque. I fitted it myself took about 4 hours, used it about five times and bang went the engine. I bent one of the conrods, £1000 later I'm back on the road. It's still fitted but cuz I can't be arsed to remove it. BUT I will never try it again even though i upgraded the rods to forged h-beams.

In short it'll end in tears.

I know of 2 other Leons on this forum that have had these fitted and it caused the rods to fail. The rods I have in at the moment SHOULD! be fine when using the box but it's not a risk I'm gonna take. 100 quids worth of box ended up costing £1000.

Defo the right decision mate:)

I think it would make a difference, but the difference is not massive by any means. Singh had one on his car and sold it on pretty soon afterward. Never bothered fitting one to mine in the end.
