1.8t intercooler piping

Any body made there own pipework up to put an intercooler on there petrol FR? thinking of adding the SEAT intercooler to mine and forge dont list a piping kit for the 1.8t.
if you have, would you be kind enough to list what sizes and shapes are needed?

or even if the tdi 130 pipework is the same onto the petrols piperwork?

Pipework is different. Forge do a kit. Look harder :lol:

Call them and ask for a 'skin kit', that's what they refer to them as.

If you put the SS FMIC, then you can order the FORGE IC piping kit for the CUPRA and wack in the boost hose kit at the same time...Everything fits 100%...

for the top of the pipe work

My above post for the map pipe will fit the to of the IC. If you buy that then your CURRENT FR pipe that is connected to the throttle body will not fit.

You will need the cupra pipe, which I posted up earlier. If you are going down this route then the FR pipe I have will not fit.

You'd end up with the top looking like this.......

wicked. im going to look at the revised cupra pipework and make u pthe bottom half.
ive found ndless descriptions of the skin kit with the pd version, so i assumed the 20v kit had been pulled out of the market.

that would probally be the better option as the cupra has a larger diameter pipe making it less restrictive.
post pics up when your done as id be intrested in what you do with the lower pipe.
